Mark Shieh

Mark is passionately curious about people and places. As a Disney Imagineer, he helped develop new theme park experiences and indulged a childhood dream to be a Disney character. He brought the same creative enthusiasm to his role as Director of User Research at ECCO Design in New York, bringing ethnographic observation into design practice. A desire to dig deeper into city building brought Mark back to Vancouver. Mark has a BS in Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management, both from Stanford University. He currently serves on the board of Vancouver Heritage Foundation and Building Opportunities with Business. Ask him about ramen.
