This is a new series showcasing kids reviewing food at River Market restaurants. Kids often are the pickiest of eaters, and the objective is to showcase what kids perceive to be delicious, and what the parent determines to be nutritious.
The first in the series is the Pad Thai with Tofu over at Longtail Thai Kitchen. We interviewed Elizabeth on her thoughts, and here is what she had to say.
Restaurant: Longtail Thai Kitchen

How would you make what you are eating better?
I wouldn’t change anything
What do you like about what you are eating?
I like the noodles. I like the tofu too.
What is your favourite thing to eat in the whole wide world?
Would you share what you are having with your friends?
No. I would eat it all by myself
What is something else you like eating at River Market?
Would you recommend what you are eating to other kids?
Did it fill you up?
What is the best part of the dish?
What did the mom have to say?
Pad Thai is great because it’s primarily noodles which she loves. I really like that she’s willing to eat the tofu since we try to eat vegetarian fairly frequently. It also has bean sprouts which which Elizabeth didn’t like when she was younger but now she loves them. This is the perfect amount for a hungry kid for dinner after a swim class. If she’s not super hungry we save what she doesn’t eat and I send with her to school for lunch the next day. She likes it just fine cold.
