Origins Chocolate Bar is owned and operated by New Westminster residents Katey Wright and Peter Jorgensen. They got hooked on bean-to-bar chocolate a few years ago through David Mincey at The Chocolate Project in Victoria, BC. Since then, they have sampled more and more chocolate from around the world (tough job), and learned more and more about the passion and care that go into making craft chocolate. Eventually they decided to take a bigger bite and open their own bean-to-bar chocolate shop. Think of them as your craft chocolate curators! They are committed to supporting chocolate-makers who have direct trading relationships with cacao farmers, so that their ingredients are traceable and their finances are transparent.
