Popular New Westminster café will open in the larger space early April
(January 8, 2019 – New Westminster, BC) New Westminster’s incredibly popular breakfast and brunch restaurant Angelina’s Dutch Café today announced it will be moving into a larger waterfront space in the bustling River Market at Westminster Quay in early April.
“We have been bursting at the seams in our current location, so finding a new, larger space so close by in the wonderful River Market is a great move for us,” says Eric Missouri, owner of Angelina’s Dutch Café. “After 17 years, as our customer base has grown, we’ve become so busy at our current space and really needed a larger location. This space at River Market is perfect for us and we know our customers will love that it’s directly facing the river.”
River Market, located along the Fraser River in New Westminster, offers more than 70,000 square feet to shop, eat and play. The addition of Angelina’s now means River Market customers will be able to come in as early as 6:30 am to enjoy breakfast by the water.
Planning for an April 1 opening, Angelina’s intends to close its current location and reopen in River Market the next day. Their Western European inspired menu will be expanding and they will now be able to offer freshly squeezed juices and freshly made soups. The new location will also be open for dinner with a brand-new menu later in 2019.
“We are very excited to bring Angelina’s into River Market and are confident that our customers will appreciate having another popular, locally owned and operated restaurant to add to their choices at the market,” says Salim Hassan, Property Manager at River Market at Westminster Quay. “Angelina’s will be a wonderful addition to all we offer as a culinary destination.”
