Come one, come all to the most curious event on earth!
The Curious Flea!
Now presented by flea veteran Bits and Keys, this event is more curious than ever.
The Curious Flea is not your grandmother’s flea market. No gloomy halls filled with dingy duds and moldy magazines. This is a flea celebrating the love of collecting, the skill of upcycling and the joy of finding the perfect treasure.
Over twenty fabulous vendors are joining us to create a flea market that is social, fabulous and fun. You can discover, learn and pique your curiosity.
Been wondering about the value of your grandmother’s antique desk clock? Bring it with you to the flea and visit the onsite appraiser. Are you a collector of the weird and wonderful? Perhaps one of those oddities can win the Battle of the Curious on the Saturday, which is a fun, free and competitive event for both vendors and the public. Prizes will be given for the most curious item submitted.
For shoppers wanting to try their hands at upcycling themselves, Derek G. Fuller of Signtology will be presenting a workshop on Saturday, May 9th at 1pm, sharing the process behind his signmaking art. From basic painting tips to making new wood look worn to bedroom murals. Only $5 to drop in!
There are three more Curious Flea events this summer:
June 14, July 5 and August 22 and 23.
So are you curious enough to check it out?
May 9 – Saturday 10 to 5
May 10 – Sunday 11 to 4
