We are so pleased to have offered the Summer of Play the past few months here at River Market. Summer of Play was a fun and free series of workshops hosted by our various shops. We wanted to offer this series to remind us all not to take life too seriously, and that learning can be fun! Although we offered a few workshops for all ages, we really focused on adults, because even adults need play, too.
We held 13 workshops throughout the summer. Participants sharpened knives, learned a few dance moves, made salsa and guacamole, learned about quick pickles and papaya salad, made yarn crafts, learned to play chess and bid Euchre, learned how to take care of their cast iron, made watercolour fish prints, and got their hands dirty planting tropical plants and air plants.
We’d love to hear from you about these workshops. Did you attend any? What did you think? If you didn’t attend any, how come? If you’ve got a few minutes to spare, we’d appreciate you filling out this survey. All survey participants can opt to have their name entered to win a River Market $50 Gift Certificate. Survey closes September 30, 2017.
We want to say a big thank you to the facilitators and shop hosts who made these workshops happen. We think they were a smashing success and hope to do it again in the future.
