This is a series showcasing kids reviewing food at River Market restaurants. Kids often are the pickiest of eaters, and the objective is to showcase what kids perceive to be delicious, and what the parent determines to be nutritious.
The sixth and final one in the series is the Veggie pot-stickers and polenta fries at Wild Rice. We interviewed Audrey on her thoughts, and here is what she had to say.
Restaurant: Wild Rice Market Bistro
Ordered: Veggie pot-stickers and polenta fries
Wait time: 7 minutes
Starts off saying: “I can’t wait to get home to my kittens”
How would you make what you are eating better?
I would add more salt 🙂
Do you know what you want to be when you grow up? Would you be a food critic?
Hmm, don’t know about that. Me and Lizzie want to open our own bakery. I will sing and Lizzie wants to cook.
What is your favourite thing to eat in the world?
Would you share what you are having with your friends?
Yes I would.
What is something else you like eating at River Market?
Fried rice at Wild Rice, and the Cheese Quesadillas at Pamola Bakery
Would you recommend what you are eating to other kids?
YES! It is a great way to get someone to try spicy food, because it is not too spicy.
What does the parent think about the dish?
I think it is awesome, and it is healthy, as well as interesting. It is a bonus that she really enjoys it. It might not be the place you think to bring a kid but it’s a great spot to let her try new things.
